Forum Dads,

My fridge was broken, so i splashed out and got the missus an all singing and all dancing fridge. It's one of those american jobby's, with the ice and water dispenser.

My Dilemma:

Here's the water pipe that's behind the fridge - the previous owner had hers plumbed in here:

With the fridge came an adaptor:

They obviously don't fit.

I'm useless with plumbing, so any tips? Do i need an additional connector?

Cheers,
Jee

just get a male to female flexi-hose - £5-10 quid - measure the aperture and get one to match from the plumb centre - job's a good'un.

In the end, with a bit of brute force, the top bit came off, and i could connect mine quite easily!

All plumbed in now - just gotta wait till i switch it on!

I was a good boy and made sure i paid extra to get an A rated one. That's as far as my energy awareness goes at the moment.

Once the price of rooftop wind generators go down, I'll get one - it's very windy here on the flat fens...
