This question is probably best addressed to the McCann family  banana

Theres been a mosquito in my apartment for the past few nights, the bugger has been biting my ankles and legs when Im asleep. I opened my eyes this morning and saw the blighter on the wall, so I went to swat it, it attempted to fly away so my swatting hand gathered imense force.

The end result was a fat mosquito and a 4 inch blood stain on my lovely just-painted walls.

How do I get rid of the blood stain without effecting the paint?

You can get 'wall erasers'. They look like little white foam blocks. Run them under the tap, then gently rub and pretty much any mark comes off.

I tried using a regular eraser on a different black mark that the furniture guys had used, it made the black stain twice the size.

Ill look out for a wall eraser.
