Applied online recently for a personal loan. Just got a phone call from some outfit saying that the company couldn't meet my loan requirements and have passed it onto them. Went through all the stuff with them and they're going to get back to me.

Just realised I've been dealing with Freedom Finance.

And I don't even watch Jeremy Kyle.

I have a feeling the original site was a bit of a con.

Chav magnet. I had the dubious honour of watching his show whilst imprisoned in my caravan at a wet and windy Great Yarmouth recently.

Actually he's not bad. Imagine Jerry Springer, but with a social conscience. His "guests", on the other hand are usually from the UK's ever-growing underclass.

*edit* - basically most of the problems people bring to the show can be explained by the sentence:
"Sorry, but its because you're a pleb".

To be honest I was impressed by his handling of the guests. Quite happy to call a chav a chav. Worth it just to see the pained look on their faces as his reply was so far away from the bleedin' heart liberal tosh they're used to.

Mrs. S. insists on doing the ironing watching Mr. Kyle. On the unfortunate occasions I've walked in while its on he looks like a right patronising frapper.

Did you go through Moneysupermarket.com? I've tried them, got turned down by the cheapest quote then was passed onto someone else. Also started getting junk mail from "interested parties".

Not touching that website again
