If you have any news or revelations, please add us to your press list.

Yours faithfully,

He means that if you've got any press releases or say photos on news stories they'd like to be notified about them as press.

For example the London Mayor's office has a press list which includes all the national newspapers, london newspapers and perhaps websites on london or the mayor. Whenever something newsworthy happens eg. Nelson Mandela comes to London (like last week) they get pro photos and have their own press release and then they send it to everyone on their press list. This allows the press to print their photos and quote from their press release.

AFAIK it means that if you send news out to the press for possible publication they want to be on that list.

If for example you take a big order to supply the latest Chery Ripoff to the USA and want to send a press release out then they'd like that press release.

It's disguised spam. You send them a press release. They call yuo back and say "Yeah we could run this article if yuo buy some ad space"

You should get a mention though. You can use it for free advertising if you word the article well.
