Thanks to my secret santa, my pressie was really lovely. It's been sat under the tree since it arrived....smelling so good!

I got a little boat, a Popeye DVD and a packet of Spinach seeds. Mrs Mantis is thrilled...

When Mrs Mantis was at medical school she had viva exam:
Examiner: how much iron do we need to eat?
Mrs M: (no idea, so guesses) 1 milligram
Examiner: what foods contian iron?
Mrs M: streak , liver..
Examiner: do you know why many people think that there is a lot of iron in spinach?
Mrs M: Because Popeye ate spinach
Examiner: actually, the first table of iron content in food had a printing error

She thinks it's the best exam question she (no, actally, anyone) has ever given, and likes to mention it as often as possible.
