Anyone planning to organise this this year? Only six weeks left to Christmas, according to my wife at least!

We use Elfster.com for organising our family secret santa. Might be worth a look rather than someone having to take responsibility for running the draw

I'm away over Christmas (from the 12th) but could still take part, as long my gift comes before then or is small enough to fit through the letter box

I'd like a Aston Martin DB9 please.

Oh wait, it's a "secret" santa. Just "forget" I said anything.

Is that Elfster any good then? Do they bombard you with shite etc? Does everyone store their address on there and then some admin presses the go button?

Might save me digging out the spreadsheet of doom and also mean I can take part.

yeah Elfster is pretty good. You can send out invites or (I think) people can just sign up to an exchange. You specify an end date for people signing up and elfster does the draw & emails you to tell you who you have.  It works pretty well.

The only spam you get is around this time of year to encourage you set up an exchange

Just to be clear, I'm up for this. And I in no way expect an Aston Martin DB9.

Okay - final list is:

Mark (fordie)
Dave (Mr A)
Dom
Matt (Sickpuppy)
Kim
Dave (Rutty)
Tony
Richard (Ory)
Eric (Yawner)
Stuart (Mantis)
Sam (samhs)
Mr Sparkle (sorry, don't know your name)

Are we going with Mark Ford's idea of signing up to a website to handle it all? If so, who wants to sort that out?

I don't mind setting it up if people want to use elfster. I think might be able to do it with out email addresses, but it might be useful if everyone could DM their addy just in case. What's the budget?
