Did anything come of this?

So this SEO copywriter walks into a bar, grill, pub, public house, Irish bar, bartender, drinks, beer, wine, liquor...

Beware my weird, cross-dressing comment's; they are pretty standard examples of trolling.

As it stands we were waiting for a design. It seems to have fizzled out a bit, but it would be good to get it sorted out if there's still a desire for it.

How long has that been going on? I didn't even know about it.

Where you've got "member's flickrs", you might also consider the same thing but for Twitter accounts. Just a thought, yo'.

Unfortunately one of the front runners to help sort this passed away, which to be honest made me personally lose heart in it, simply because his name is still in threads with regards to it.

That and now all spare time is now spent with the little one or work smile

I'll chat to Tony and we can maybe get something set up, and then call for contributors for content adding. Can't do the design though, not my department.

I'm quite happy to kick it off again if there's an appetite for it.

I'm/we're still happy to do the theme if someone wants to come up with a design, and also a list of desired features and sections (cats, archives, link sections, galleries, etc.).

I can give up to 4 hours a week of sitting on the sidelines, making sarky comments.

Every little helps, if you all pull together.

I'd have thought Rutty would have been first to volunteer for that one wink

There's a private forum for discussion on this. To avoid too many eggs in one basket we need
1. a designer
2. perhaps one or two more people to give ideas for what the site should contain - obviously once the site is up and running then we could expand with suggestions from the community as a whole, but this would reduce too many suggestions and allow the site to at least be up and running.

Any design would of course need to be flexible for future expansion, but we'd set the initial theme up to be fairly flexible anyway.

Then we'd just need a few people to start adding content, which could start virtually straight away (I may just need to add a few new features like featured images for posts etc.) so that once the theme is done the site could go live. I have plenty of WP tutorials which I can put up (written for a previous site but I retain copyright so i could update them for DDN), however I don't want to drown the site in WP wink
