Anyone up for this again this year?

If so, I've set up a new league ready for the start of the season. The fantasy league kicks off on August 13, so there's 3 weeks or so to get a team sorted out and enter.

Anyone who took part last season can log back in with the same details that they used before. You'll be asked to confirm your account again and to create your team. Once you've done that you may automatically be entered back into the DDN league (which is how it worked previously). If not then PM me for the league pin.

And anyone who didn't take part last season that wants to join in can do - create your account and team and then PM me and I'll send the league pin to you too.

How about some more fresh blood this season, with a few more of the old .netters having a go?

I'm in for another year.

After last year's mediocrity I've decided to take no advice from the office 'expert' and just bought the most expensive 11 I could, with cheapo subs.
Fingers crossed I have no injuries during the season. LOL

Great post Jon! I have been following the effort since you started it, and although I have understood its purpose this post does a really great job solidifying the full rationale.

I might make a return this year. I quite enjoyed not hoping another team/player would score against United last year mind! My knowledge of the players has gone downhill though.. I play more than I watch and I'm not allowed to watch MOTD on a Saturday night. wink Yeah the excuses are coming in early..  Roll Eyes

Can I join more than one league? Work are also running with this one.

Bump - still missing a few regulars, and still sorely lacking in fresh blood. If you don't know anything about football you can still have a go, most of us don't anyway if the truth be told, and there's a lucky dip option available.

Got a lad at work who would join if you want to make up some numbers (he's got a team in another league), or do you want to keep it just DDN?

I've no problem with him joining.

He could even join DDN too, it'd give him something to do when he's at work wink

I've added my team and have already changed the whole team 3 times already. this year is a lot harder to choose, there are lots of transfers going on too.

Prices have shot up for a lot of players too, making it very difficult to get an average team with more than one or two decent players in.

Oh, and less than 2 days left for people to get their teams picked in time for the the first kick-off.

Individual team's points were updated after the games on Saturday and again on Sunday.

My Team > Gameweek 1 > View points

It doesn't look like the league table is updated until all of the games in the gameweek are completed though (tonight).

Looks like they've underestimated the capacity required.
