I need to set up a custom search in wordpress for a certain post type.
I have created a form with a field that I can check against and then I am able to filter the search for the post type.

The part I am stuck on is how to search multiple custom fields and taxonomies so i canh have checkboxes and dropdown in the form to search against.

Can anyone help?

When you say filter the search do you mean WP_Query? I've set up a multi option search and at the time you could only filter on one taxonomy so I did this and then filtered the results manually with a comparison to check for the second. However I'm sure they've added in the option to just filter on multiple taxonomies now (but you'd have to double check).
