laser printer

I need a monochrome laser printer. Nothing fancy, just something that can churn out lots of text. I'll keep an inkjet going for colour stuff, but I'm printing out lots of articles and am replacing inkjet ink a lot.

Any idea what I should be paying - and any recommendations?

I've had two HP Laserjet 1010 printers going soliday daily for a couple of years or more now with no problems, and a HP LaserJet 1020 for about a year - again, runs without issues. They're cheap to buy, seem to keep going and the text quality is good.

I woodn't buy anything other than HP. I have my reasons. Mostly the same as Shirker.

I have very few problems with any of the HP Printers I've bought over the years and I've lost count of how many I have running at present.

I've got an old samsung laser print, had it two - three years? Only just going to refill the cartridge in the next six months I think.

Highly recommended for just text - and save the inkjet.
