What I love is that they actually called me 'name' despite my real name being in the subject of the email. Tut tut, they can't even write a spam script properly, so what hope do I have of seeing my "GBP 1500 plus commission" now that I'm "on a maternity leave"...?

Also, I have no idea what the job is for. Not that there is a job, of course. Sigh, I wish I'd get some juicy confidential emails like FC does.

They make me angry. Angry that someone actually thinks they're good enough to fool people, and angry that someone somewhere is probably fooled by them.

When they arrive I invariably cover my screen in green phlegm.

Set up a gmail account under a false name and email them back. I did that with a Nigerian scammer once.

They should really have a if male then don't mention maternity leave logic!

I do like those emails especially when they forget to mention anything about the actual job eg what where and how much!

On a serious note, do people really get taken in by these emails these days?

I guess they must do or it wouldn't be worth the spammers bothering.

Some emails are quite convincing too, which worries me slightly when my Grandad is online frequently. I hope he doesn't get anything like that. Not that he'll be looking for work at the ripe old age of 80.
