IE7/8 PNG problem
«
on:
May 15, 2011, 09:38:31 AM »
Can anyone see why my transparent PNG files are rendering with a weird matte effect here:

Normally I have no problem with this, so I'm confused as to what is different on this occasion?!
TIA

Removing the link to jquery fixes it, so it's something in there causing it.

Thanks. You prompted me to find this:
http://groups.google.com/group/jquery-dev/browse_thread/thread/1f693c5f4e8ea650/f49280e7958bac7d
which solves the problem - you can't animate opacity of a transparent PNG in IE7 or 8 without getting weirdness. Ho hum.
Cheers Dave
