Hehe. I've got nice skins too, generally. I mean, I'm not that hairy,
I was a walking pustule as a teenager though, with bigger eruptions than Vesuvius

For squeezing, use the traffic light rules:
Red - Stop! The spot is likely to be infected, and squeezing will lead to a world of pain. Yellow - Proceed, with caution. Gently squeeze out the puss. Bonus points for squirting the mirror. Green - Go - straight to the hospital. There is something seriously wrong with you.
Otherwise, toothpaste works well. It'll draw out the moisture and reduce the size. You can then apply concealer as appropriate.
Prevention is better than the cure, though. Be a man and cleanse, tone and moisturise.
Sue.

Haha, well I usually do, minus the toning and moisturising, which I guess is how I've avoided massive outbreaks fo spots in the past. I love the toothpaste thing though. I'm going to give it a go next time.

I moisturise these days, now I'm old and my skin is all leathery. Nothing girly about it, if I don't it feels like my face has been wrapped in parcel tape.

Real men use moisturiser Interestingly (for this thread anyway!), adult acne can be purely down to hormones and no amount of creams, lotions, and potions will help. The best thing to do cases like these is go to the GP.

I can't remember the last time I went to the GP. Probably about 10 years ago, maybe more. I should really go, though, as I've had a really mild chest infection since Christmas. I could probably do with antibiotics.

Mrs. Lampkins noticed skin changes going on and off the pill, because of the hormone changes. Some people are even told to go onto the pill because it can clear up skin.

Aye, I had clear skin when I was hormone-based contraception too. I think I'm just destined to be a spotty oik until I go through the menopause.

Seek out the GP and if that is no good then go the beauty counters! If you see a dancing banana in this post then it means you must follow my advice *taps nose*

Come on, for the sake of walking in and being given a prescription and feeling better after 3 days of tablets it must be worth the hassle of going. I felt poo last week, I did my usual of not bothering to go to the doctors, but Mrs Mattian wouldnt stop moaning at me - so off I went, 7 days of antibiotics and I felt better after a couple of days. Simple and easy! On the flip side, I went the other week because of chest pains, only to be diagnosed with liver disease. Not sure how that happened, but I still have the chest pains and my liver has not bothered me once!

Yeah you're right. Although it's practically gone, and has been for weeks now. Although I should really just get checked out to be sure.
