Today, had a nice morning shopping with a sleeping baby and my Mum.
Tonight we have dinner sponsored by M&S wink
Tomorrow we're off to Cambridge and Peterborough to take the baby to visit his great grandparents, great uncle/aunts and cousins, plus a quick stop in Kiddicare to find him a cotbed.
Sunday we drive home Sad

I'd offer you our old cot but it's sitting in the garage in bits after FC Jnr. tore it apart with his teeth.

Heh no worries smile The one my parents have here for my nephew is only £100 inc a spring mattress, and it'll last until he's 4 so think we should get our money's worth with that! Just want to check a couple of others and check we're happy with it (before ordering through quidco of course!) wink

We used to live in Cambridge - both worked at the Uni, thought we were going to live the student lifestyle forever... worst luck lol. We loved it, but Mrs wanted to live in Scotland a wee while, before emigrating to NZ, but kids are here now so guess we're settled... although Barcelona does have a big place in our hearts so who knows, maybe a move to the sun one day...

yeah I really think you should reconsider. Apparently the gravity at the surface alone would kill you within a minute, let alone the other factors which Steven has alluded to.

Cambridge is brilliant. I went there a couple of times with the showering ex. We did punting and drinking.

It's that day of the week again folks!

I've got the next week off work, and I can tell you, it's much deserved. Not got a lot planned though, other than to catch up with the sleep I've not been getting lately.

I may also be moving into a flat with my bro at some point soon, so I've got a shopping trip to be had. And I'll also be guesting on a friend's podcast a couple of times, so that'll be cool.

I'll bring a ray of sunshine to the proceedings. Also, a 10-question general knowledge quiz, and perhaps some random facts of the day!

Well, I did last time, and all three of his listeners seemed to like it.

Just try not to crash as many times as he does.

On the same day that I have anti-aircraft weapons practice! What are the odds?

Seriously though, have a good time. Is it a one off, or are you going for a license?

It's a one-off 'er-indoors got me for Christmas. Although I'm considering going for a license; I quite fancy being Quagmire.

Welcome to the Official DDN Friday thread - where we get to celebrate the fact that it's Friday, and that in a few short hours we'll be free of "the man" and can wallow in our own filth without judgement or penalty!

Any plans for the weekend? I plan to make pancakes to make up for the lack of them on International Pancake Day, and that's about it.

Real men don't answer to "the man".  For real men it's friday every day.

Please note
Also applies to unemployed.
Also applies to those who have a female boss.

If I didn't have bloody Thompson directories coming now I'd bugger off home. Can't believe the weather. Just been to the bank and the heat is lovely.

Just been in the garden with the Mrs and little one, so nice I've decided to bunk off for the afternoon. Possibly the only benefit of self-employment...though I'll have to work tonight instead...
