Monthly Competition #24 Theme: Quadruped (photos of four-legged things) Entries can be taken & added to this thread any time from now until midnight February 28. Each member can enter up to 2 photos. If hosting your images on Flickr you can get the BB Code for forum posting by going to the Flickr photo page and selecting "Grab the BBCode" from the "Share this" options (button immediately above the photo). Then make sure that medium 500 is selected and the BBCode radio button checked to get the correct BB Code to copy (it'll include a tagline code snippet too which you can delete). Great post Jon! I have been following the effort since you started it, and although I have understood its purpose this post does a really great job solidifying the full rationale.

I'm a bit confused with the numbers, so:
1st #Robs lizard 2nd #Ruttys wheel

A little later than intended closing this, but the results are: 1st place Keri (#1) with 17 points, 2nd place is Keri (#2) with 12 points, and Rutty in 3rd place (#6) with 6 points. So congratulations to Keri for another runaway victory And thanks to everyone who took the time to enter and/or vote! If Keri would like to choose another theme we'll use that for May's contest, giving almost 9 weeks to come up with a couple of shots. The deadline for taking your photo is 31 May, and you then have until 07 June to enter them. Back catalogue shots can be used, but I think it's preferable for at least one of the two entered shots to be a recent one where possible. The contest for April is another 'your best of the month' one, so each person can enter one image which must be taken during April 2011, and you have until 07 May to enter it. Cheers!

Cheers for the votes, i was very lucky to be bullied into taking photos of this birthday ride, i say bullied, as soon as i saw the tide times i was more than happy to play ball as i hoped i'd get some nice shots and i think it did Not sure on what to choose next, does spring sound good ? Feel free to make suggestions.
