Not many to choose from this month, but time to vote. Pick your top two images using the topic reply numbers to identify them.

Cheers smile

Great post Jon! I have been following the effort since you started it, and although I have understood its purpose this post does a really great job solidifying the full rationale.

Voting is now over and the winner is Britman with 17 points for his light painting, with myself and Rutty in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Congratulations Britters big grin

February's contest is open for entries until the end of the month with the theme 'quadruped' and is open to anyone to enter smile

Really worthy winner, some of the best light painting I've seen. Well done Britman.

On a side note, is it worth giving a couple of days grace for uploading shots? I didn't shoot anything until the end of Jan (needed a break after my 365), so had a couple of shots but no time to upload them. Is it worth allowing a couple of days for people to process and upload last minute entries before the voting starts?

How about a week? We can then do the voting during weeks 2 and 3.

Thanks for the votes guys.
You all should give the light painting a try, it's dead easy and the effect can be cool.

Works for me if everybody else is happy.

As long as they were taken in the correct month, shouldn't be a problem.
