Wife has a friend who is a voiceover artist, and she would like to have a few cartoon sketches added to her website for which she would do the viceover work. She says she ois looking for 4, or 5, 30 second animations which are amusing but she could only afford a max of £150 or thereabouts. Does anyone here do that sort of thing, or know of anyone?

Sounds like a Flash job, but that's wayyyyyyy too small a budget.

I did tell her it would be difficult for that budget, although she has her fingers crossed. He had thought of trying the students at the college she teaches drama at, but she was pleased for me to see if I could pass it on to someone from here.

How about those lovely examples I posted on here not so long back, with flags and other animations? Do a search for my posts...

A lot of it depends how complex they are, and how many different scene locations. Bearing in mind the person doing the work is going to have to create the characters (does she even have a storyline/script?) then vectorise them, as well as animating them, and then they'll have to sync the voice over and export the files as well - I would put a conservative estimate of a day per movie, and that's a rush job. For £30 I think she's going to struggle with that budget, even asking students.

Yeah I totally agree. She's on to a loser there.
