Putting an flv file into a web page

What's the best and most compatible method for putting an flv file into a web page, ie providing it as playable content?

I would upload it on screencast and then grab the code from there and put it on the site it needs to play on. You use their bandwidth too then.

But me customer is looking further down the line when they will have all their flash and audio stuff on a separate server that specialises in streaming media. So the flv file will be called in from the remote server. For now I just need to call it remotely from a different domain to show proof that it's going to work.

ah ok. There's quite a few flv players that you can download and use on your site. I looked at this one - http://flvplayer.com/ before our client went off and used screencast
