Not sure if anyone is remotely interested but the ISS is visible every night currently, sometimes twice a night.

Times it's visible are here (same time all across the UK) - http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/cities/view.cgi?country=United_Kingdom&region=England&city=Cheltenham

You shouldn't miss it.

The time isn't quite the same as Liverpool is 5 minutes later than Cheltenham. I'd have given up and gone back indoors by then! Plus the angle is different (not that I have a clue how to read the angle!!).

Might try if we remember smile

Is it visible to the naked eye or do you need binoculars?

Easily visible to the naked eye. If you find a time when it's brightness is a 3 or 4 and the visible time is 3-4 minutes then you'll have no problem.
