I've set up a new league ready for the start of the season. The fantasy league kicks off on August 14, so there's 17 days to get a team sorted out and enter.

Anyone who took part last season (the Premiership one, not the World Cup contest) can log back in with the same details that they used before. You'll be asked to confirm your account again and to create your team. Once you've done that you'll automatically be entered back into the DDN league.

Anyone who didn't take part last season that wants to join in can do - create your account and team and then PM me and I'll send the league details to you.

I'm not much of a footy fan. Do they still use bats?

i was going to set up a squad but the boss was standing behind me.

i'll see if i can sneak 5 minutes of unadulterated FA based web-access tomorrow and set up the winning team.

...and set up the winning team.

I'll have a go at that too.
Still plenty of time (and transfers) to go before the season starts.

Great post Jon! I have been following the effort since you started it, and although I have understood its purpose this post does a really great job solidifying the full rationale.

May I remind you whippersnappers that I led this competition for quite a while at the start of last season. I've always had a habit of peaking too soon...  Sad
