I've managed to install the WP e-commerce plugin on my site http://kisto.co.uk/ and I'm very proud that I seem to have it up and running! GO ME!  banana
I had a slight hiccup with processing paypal payments earlier, but thanks to a bit of googling I think that is all resolved now.

Whilst trying to resolve the problem several 'dummy' orders were placed which I would now like to delete... however when I click delete I am getting this error message

"Not Found

The requested URL /wp-admin/page.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.10 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.10 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.8.8 Server at kisto.co.uk Port 80
"

Why?

Help appreciated for a dumbass please!

The first error says that page.php doesn't exist within the wp-admin folder, which it shouldn't. It's not a part of the admin and plugins shouldn't access that folder to add files to it. The second error says that there's no 404 error document on the server so it's erroring while looking for it.

You might find http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/eshop/ to be a better/easier one to work with anyway.

Cheers for the quick reply Mr A!

I'm cursing myself for not asking on here before I installed WP e-commerce as it was a toss up between that and eshop!!

I guess I'll swap over to eshop tomorrow! Easier and better sound good to me!

I've just discovered yet another glitch on my site with WP e-commerce (which has probably occurred as a result of my fix for the original problem)!

Sorry to double post but just wanted to thank you again Mr A. Although it has been tedious populating the shop again, I have found eshops to be so much easier to use. My shop is now up and running again. I'm just waiting for my sister to make a test purchase to check it is all ok.  smile

I've learnt so much about wordpress over the last 2 days too!
