....an 8 year olds face.  no

It was the year 6's final day at school today and they were getting all the kids to sign their t-shirts. For some reason this then turned to writing on each other....and this led to Lois thinking it would be a great idea to get one of them to draw whiskers and a nose on her face. nono  crybaby

She is spending the day with her dad tomorrow and I'd really rather not send her there with permenant face paint on.

Sorry, I'm supposed to be Forum Dad aren`t I?

1. Nailpolish remover that contains acetone

2. (don`t do this while smoking:)

Take one inch square of "J" cloth (strong disposable cloth for household cleaning - usually blue) fold twice to make a 1/2" square) apply a few drops of lighter fluid.
Test on inconspicuous area of material first then rub mark before fluid evaporates.
Repeat as necessary.
Precautions:
a The fluid dries the skin, consider using a rubber finger cone.
b Highly flammable.
c Do not inhale - vapour can be harmful or fatal.

3. Baking Soda

4. Bicarbonate of soda in combination with white vinegar

5. "Sorry Lois isn`t well today, she can`t make it"

Second the nail-polisher remover, funny enough I found that out at school.

Someone had wrote graffiti on window of the head-teachers office, and the janitor was scrubbing for his life with the generic-school supplied rubbish and one of the teachers tried with nail-polish remover and it slid off. Janitor was a sexist pig anyway..

Good point - probably not, besides he might not even turn up.....

Thanks all. I'll let you know how I get on with removing the pen. I'll start with a rusty brillo pad - I reckon that'll exfoliate Lois' skin nicely, ready to apply some nail varnish remover. It might not remove the pen but it'll bloomin' well teach her not to draw on her face.
She used a felt pen to draw a mouth and eyes around her belly button last week. She doesn't even want me to remove it off her face anyway!

PHEW!
I needn't have worried. It must have been white board marker they used, as it washed off relatively easy with soap and water. Lois is gutted  - she insisted they promised her it was permenant marker!
