Hi all.

Thought Id share some knowledge with you, you might already all know thiis, but some might not.

The problem:

Myself and my missus Jade both have shiny new iphones, Jade answers any calls to Mattian and so books me appointments, to date she just texts me the details or post its at home.

I wanted a way that we could put these appointments and other shared events (so I dont book things if she is out) - but you cant, to my knowledge, jsut share a calendar on iphones unless your using something like exchange.

So - the simplest way is to share a calendar through google calendar. (visit google in safari, log in and go to calendar, its all web based you just add a shortcut to the page on your homepage) You can also if you have an ical supporting program (like Outlook 2007) add a subscription to your google calendar so its in there as well.

Do the same on the other phone and bobs your uncle - not the easiest way and it means Jade logs in using my account (although I could get her account and give her rights over the google calendar)

Hope that helps someone whos thinking, like me, all this technology and we can easily share a calendar?!?

I sync between Sunbird, Google and my iphone using CalDav. It fully syncs with the iphone's calendar so there's no need to use Safari on the phone.
