Comic Sans alternative

Hi

Have got to quote for a nursery site and they want to use Comic Sans .. I've pointed out how awful it is and thankfully the guy I'm dealing with agrees, however, the other directors don't.

They state that it is an easy font for kids to read (though I'm not convinced that's who it's aimed at!). However, I also know a guy who works at a special needs college and he has said that for disability purposes, it is the easiest font to read.

Bearing this in mind, is anyone aware of another standard font that would fit this criteria ?

Give the customer what they want.

When they realise they are wrong, charge them to change it.

I think I agree with the previous comment - you could spend ages and they might still insist on the orig font nad they won't be paying for all the time you took looking for alternatives.

charge more seeing as you probably wont want to include a footer link back to your own site or include it in your portfolio
