Hi all need some advice of what to go for in terms of tv, broadband and phone line.
I am moving in a couple of weeks and ive just found out that the new place won't allow me to take my sky tv.
I currently have sky tv, BE broadband and a bt phone line.

i am looking at getting bt vision with their internet and phone line or possibly talk talk but im not really sure what to go for.
are there any other companies i should consider? unfortunately virgin don't have fibre in my area yet.

BT Vision is surprisingly good - and much cheaper than Sky. We got rid of Sky almost six months ago, and honestly haven't missed it at all.

We have BT vision (bronze package) and I (and the kids) love it... however, having just looked online I'm shocked to learn I am paying about £20 a month more than I need to be for my complete BT package  fear fear fear (phonecall to bt tomorrow me thinks)!

Although you might lose some sky channels you may well find that the programmes are added to the "On Demand" section anyway (which I find very useful).

The service I have received from BT has been fantastic. I've had it for a couple years now and have never had any problems or interruptions. There was a bit of a cock up when I moved last year but it was easily resolved.

The one thing that does completely annoy me about contacting customer services at BT, is that you never get through to the right department. When I moved house it took 7 department transfers to speak to the right person regarding an engineers visit (and it actually turned out there would be no engineer visit anyway). Today I have had 4 department transfers before I spoke to someone who could/would help (and even then he had to transfer me to finalise my query).

I have sorted my BT Package though. I don't qualify for a bundle option as this is only for new customers.

I downgraded from Option 3, to Option 2 broadband and they have discounted it to £15.54 for me (instead of 20.99) and are sending me the new hub smile
