If anyone has taken any pictures of the recent flood events anywhere in the Country and dont mind sharing them, could they please let me know. I will of course reimburse if any costs are incurred should you prefer to send on disc or other format. Alternatively if you can email them to me at floodpictures [at] fireservice with a co.uk on the end, they would be much appreciated.

The best of a bad bunch taken on my mobile while sat on the M5 between Stroud and Gloucester. As you can see the water is covering most of the middle lane.

Cheers. I am putting together a report for the recent floods in Doncaster and pictures do tell a 1000 words so the more I get the easier it will be to explain to those who are not familiar with the events. I am also currently on standby to be mobilised down south and this will also form part of the report.

Due to the fact we get heavily involved, I rarely have time to actually take any photos, hence the request.

And some videos which show just how fast the water was flowing down the motorway. It was pouring off the hills and onto the motorway and the drains couldn't cope.

It was quite mad seeing the Sea King blaring lights down on us whilst out drinking last night. He was dropping people in the local park which acts as the hospitals heliport. Would like to get some more pictures if I get chance.
