One of my old bosses did something similar, everyone was given a single lottery ticket. Initial excitement followed quickly on Saturday evening by disappointment and the realisation that you've been given the worst xmas bonus ever.

(I know, only September. Sue me...)

We did all our christmas shopping in september last year, so perfectly acceptable wink  I was actually going to mention to Mr A that we needed to make a start for this year, especially after a lot of people didn't get their deliveries last year due to the snow big grin

My Missus has already bought, and wrapped, about five presents so far. We're in America/Canada over Christmas so having to buy early this year. Amazon should be getting good business from us smile

Saved me a fortune as well. Tongue

Just bought myself a Mophie powerpack and remembered to click on the affiliate link first. Forgot when I recently bought my wife a Kindle (sorry)...

Remember to click through from here to Amazon before getting those secret santa gifts!

Our Tescos was pretty bare, I think we each had a tin of beans for xmas presents. Plus the mother-in-law couldn't make it over for her annual visit - every snow cloud etc.

I was going to say, wish that last thing had happened to me. She is off to India this year though, and I think she has only been around twice this whole year!

Just to give you guys an update on where we are, we ended 2010 with a bit of a surplus however we are currently in deficit - not too much, only around £25, so do click the link for those last minute presents!
