HI All,
I have a customer who does a lot of work for the government and other establishments. They would like to have a .org domain... just wondered whet your comments would be on that...? They are a business. I have tried to disuade them from such a domain, I don't feel comfortable with knowing I purchased a .org for a commercial company.

Would you feel comfortable buying a .net for a company who isn't an Internet service provider?

I don't have any moral objection to a .org being used for a commercial venture.  However, there would be end user expectation considerations to be made.

I'd only have a problem with it if registrars put specific limitations on who could purchase the domain (like .ltd.uk or .edu), rather than some open-to-interpretation guidelines.

So this SEO copywriter walks into a bar, grill, pub, public house, Irish bar, bartender, drinks, beer, wine, liquor...

Beware my weird, cross-dressing comment's; they are pretty standard examples of trolling.
