AVG Upgrade/Zone Alarm

I've just clicked the 'upgrade AVG' button and am in the process of installing it but it's asking me to remove Zone Alarm as it's potentially incompatible .... seems a bit strange and wondered what I should do ... any thoughts ?

I know that AVG Pro comes with a firewall, but its an optional component so its up to yourself if you want to stick with ZA or use AVG for both AV and firewall

ah right well AVG have a good reputation so I'll probably uninstall zone alarm then .. thanks

On the off chance that the OP happens to look at this thread again, I'd suggest that you uninstall all of that, and instead use MS Security Essentials. It works very well, has a small memory footprint, is free and is simple to use!
