It's nearly that time again if anyone is up for it this year?

Channel 4 aren't running on this year so I've set up a league with Sky Sports. The setup is almost the same as we're used to, but there are a few slight changes, including: slightly different point scoring (more for goals & assists and clean sheets, less of for cards, more off for GA etc.), and fewer transfers (max 5 a month, total of 30 for the season). Other than that it's pretty straight forward. Obviously this year you'll need to register as it's done through a different site, but it only takes a few minutes to do, and there's a £10,000 prize up for grabs.
To register go here: http://fantasyfootball.skysports.com/Index.aspx
And for our league go here: http://fantasyfootball.skysports.com/FriendsLeague.aspx?p=14737

To register go here: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/register.mc
And for our league go here: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/table.mc?id=223835 PM me for the Pin

Although the site theirs was on still does it, so not sure why they sent an email saying to look elsewhere. So we have a choice - use fantasyleague.com or stick with the one I've set up on Sky?

Nice one.

There's a possibility that it'll be switched somewhere else though. I can't access my team, just get an error page with the helpful "there has been an error" message; same thing happens with Slee's account too.

I'm seriously useless with these things. Tend to play religiously for about 2 weeks then forget (can't be bothered more like) to do anything with it.

Great post Jon! I have been following the effort since you started it, and although I have understood its purpose this post does a really great job solidifying the full rationale.

All change - they've completely ignored support requests, so some of us still can't access our teams. And I've tried to create a new team and transfer control of the league to that but couldn't. So I think it's best to scrap it before their buggy system spoils it any more. So I've started from scratch at: http://fantasy.premierleague.com

To register go here: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/register.mc
And for our league go here: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/table.mc?id=223835 PM me for the Pin

There's a few slight changes in that you pick a squad of 15, and have 4 subs and a captain that scores double.

Rules are here: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/rules.mc
And FAQs: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/help.mc

Team created (auto-complete FTL!) but can't see how to join the DDN league. They're asking for a code?

Bumping this in case anyone missed it. The first league is being abandoned as not everyone's account works. The new league's details are below:

Yeah, it's a PITA, sorry.

Still, it would have been easier not joining the first one for a second time first wink
