black tie do
«

I've been invited to a proper posh do (the room is £900 per night!
!), me being a jeans/tshirt sort, I'm not sure what I need to wear...
Here's the lowdown;
Men - black tie
Ladies - cocktail or evening dress
WTF does black tie mean? Like a funeral?

You can hire em for 30-40 notes a night...
and just because its black tie doesn't mean its posh... i've been to a few black tie do's and they are full of tossbags ripped to the tits.

Last black tie do (a wedding) I went to I wore an actual black tie (as in funeral tie) and there were a few of us wearing them. Supposedly it's what the 'trendy' people wear, but I spent most of the day saying I was mourning the grooms loss of bachelorhood.

Gary if you're in 'Nam then there's a place by Mossisons that hire them. My last one a few weeks abck was about £40. Quite a few dry cleaners do them

Cheers Chaps. I'm more at home at a greasy spoon than a high class joint.
Moss Bros to the rescue!
