Hi
I'm trying to set up an FTP server on one of our NAS drives, a Synology DS109j.
I can connect to it internally using the NAS IP address and WS FTP, but when I try using our static IP it doesn't recognise the password.   I get the following error message in  WS FTP:

Connecting to 81.86.253.127:21
Connected to 81.86.253.127:21 in 0.000000 seconds, Waiting for Server Response
220 P-660R-D1 FTP version 1.0 ready at Fri Apr 17 10:56:21 2009
Host type (1): AUTO
USER cameo1
331 Enter PASS command
PASS (hidden)
530 User cameo1 cannot log in.

I'm using a ZyXel modem - this is the port forwarding screenshot:

Any Idea what I'm doing wrong?

The FTP server is limiting logins to the local network (a sensible default), you need to change the configuration on the server.
