It's a good job Al Gore invented global warming or it would be bloody freezing out there.

He enjoys a good scrap, and usually appears covered in blood with ears hanging off etc after a night out. He was a stray who sat outside on our doorstep peering in through the glass, for about 2 months before we gave in to the inevitable.

Being near the sea means snow rarely sticks here, but here are a couple of the minor dusting we've had

It's quite unusual for us to have snow here in Devon!

Not the best photos as they were taken at about 5:30pm tonight, when the light was fading. I'm sure I could have got better ones with my camera, but I'm still trying to get my head round all the functions!

It's only started to come down thicker since dark so no landscape shots, but here's one I did earlier

It is a lovely place. The surrounding countryside is beautiful.
Random fact: The lights in the distance are a small village called Taddiport. You'll notice to the left of the village is 2 long thin strips of land which were actually leper fields. They even have a 'Leper Festival' in Taddiport each year!  blink  ohmy

p.s. Very nice 'quick snap' Mr Anderson.

No - she's at the back of the house.

Kim - tell us more about these leper fields - sounds intriguing.

Up here: light frosting. It's been raining solidly for 3 days, but looks like we're finally going to get snow. Schools are closed today for the first time this year. Grrr.

Here's our pathetic attempt. Not sure how much of the sea air is effecting it though

Only a very light sprinkling of snow here today.

Kim - tell us more about these leper fields - sounds intriguing.

The Leper fields were given to the Leper Hospital at Taddiport, so they could grow their own fruit and vegetables. They date back to Medieval times apparently. As far as I know, there are no longer any Lepers in Taddiport!!!
