about 1/2 hour drive from home. Pretty nice light, and fab scenery:

Sadly not 100% sharp (1/60 second exposures, but it was cold) but a pretty nice result until you zoom right in.

As it's you, I'll bite...

Nope - didn't take a tripod (as you can tell from the shaky shot). I got stuck with carrying a 2-year-old all the way up, and all the way back down. On the way back down he was soaking from having rolled in 5ft snow drifts. The joys of parenthood.  dontgetit

PS Just 'cause Mike's winding you up, you don't need to take it out on the rest of us... wink
