Mission Impossible

Well, maybe not Mission Impossible but Mission Fiendishly Difficult.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find an External 5.25" drive caddy with Firewire (essential) and USB2 (Nice but not essential) interfaces & to find a DVD writer that supports 16x (or higher) DVD Write speeds (don't care about rewrite speeds as I never use RW discs), Dual Layer & Lightscribe and in an internal drive so that it will fit in the drive caddy. The challenge is to find these items from a reputable store!
I can find the DVD writer easily enough from just about any store on the planet but the drive caddy is REALLY hard to find. The only places I can find them are with companies I've never heard of and not sure I trust. In order to keep postage costs down I'd prefer both components to come from the same store.
The burner needs to be a good one i.e. fast burn times, reliable etc. Lightscribe quality doesnt have to be that good or that fast as I won't use this feature all the time and when I do it would only be for basic text.
Now obviously I could just buy a 'ready made' external DVD writer but ones with a Firewire interface can be pretty expensive costing between £60-£100. So far the cheapest one I've found is one for £55 (inc P&P) but the reviews of it aren't great. In comparrison I've managed to find a caddy and drive for £41 + P&P but it's a company I've never heard of before DigitalPromo.co.uk and the caddy looks a bit naff and the drive although probably fine I can't find any reviews of. It's an LG GSAH42LBL

So you need a caddy? I've got a USB2 one at home - I know they do a firewire version. Works fine, though it did give me an electric shock once. No biggie. I'll find out the make for you.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying 'til you run out of cake
And the science gets done, and you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive
