Well yesterday I went to the Shoreham Airshow where I smashed by previous record of the number of photos taken in 1 day by shooting 1427 photos - I forgot how fast the High Speed Burst Mode is on the 30D! I won't bore you will all of them wink so here are just a few. As we didn't get there until fairly late we didn't get that good a spot so I had to use my 70-200 f/2.8 L lens with a 2x Teleconverter.

Great photos. This is a bit rich coming from me, but maybe a tad overdone on the vignette?

Cracking shots, though I do have to voice my opposition to the vignettes wink

I don't think they need them at all

Got to agree about the vignette, they're fantastic photos and would stand up on their own without it. I particularly like the Hurricane wink (which is the only one here that I think the vignette works with) and also the first of the Wing Walker shots.

I disagree. The vignette adds, but you've been a bit heavy handed with it. They are, as has been said, cracking shots.

I'm guessing vignette means shaded corners. In which case yes, it is a bit heavy on some of them.

Otherwise as eveyone else has said, great pics SL.

Thanks everyone for your comments. On reflection I agree that the vignetting was a little overdone so I've made some alterations to the original images (I think I've posted the same ones as before)

Good set SL, looks like they made it for the only good day during the summer.

Better than mine. I was visiting my dad and we went for a trip to Dartmouth not realising they were having their regatta. We queued 2 hours to get to the place. Stayed for the airshow by the red arrows then queued another 2 hours to get out of the place.

Here is a shot of the only time they were visible through the cloud cover.

I had less than half a second to take that bloody shot.
