I Have a Panasonic SD5 HD video camea whgich comes with a very limited video editing suite. I can produce the contents of the camera onto DVD with little effort and the footage is very clear. However, ther eis no option to add titles that scroll etc at the begining or end and I have resorted to using Windows Movie Maker in Vista. This is all well and good, but I have to save the footage as an MPEG and then att the titles to the start and end and then produce a DVD.
The above works, but the quality is not as good as creating straight from AVCHD.
Do any of you video editors have a preference on what you use to create the menus and credits etc. It seems everyone is adding them as all you tube vids seem to have some sort of credits added. Although I do suspect the footage for You Tube is created using Movie Maker as the overall quality is not required.
Any help appreciated.
