Classified Ads

I am looking to create a site which will allow companies who have a common theme to advertise their services or products via the site.

Can anyone recommend if installing some sort of software which would allow potential advertisers to add their site and details to the site complete with a payment system, or is it better to get someone to create a system which would allow this.

Idealy a company who would be interested could simply pay via paypal and then add and edit their own company advert which will then be listed within the site.

There are a few components for Joomla that will do that sort of thing.
