Welcome stranger?

Greetings!

It's been so long since I last visited, I had to re-register   ....... I still recognise a number of names here so extend my greetings and hope my occasional visits are not unwelcome.


Unfortunately, although I am that much older, my technical knowledge is no further advanced so help from one of you .NET experts will be appreciated.  I am trying to install a simple 'ShoutBox' application on one of my sites.   Has anyone used it or experienced any problems installing it?

Advice will be greatly appreciated.

for the shoutbox what platform are you installing it on? php? asp.net?...

are you running wordpress or anything like that as i know if you are using wordpress there are free plugins you can install to run a shoutbox

Yes, I think you were a member back - way back - then.  If you still have a CD of DDN's "That's what I call Music" that will place the date.

That's for the offer.  Have now sorted the ShoutBox problems out.  I was trying to run it on .NET 1 point something when it needed .NET 2.  It didn't help that the installation instructions were for a different version altogether - software houses no doubt find it cost effective to let the customers sort out the glitches.........

Anyway, now that I have re-registered I will drop in on you guys from time to time.
