Safari Issue

Not my site and it was done ages ago but I help em out from time to time with bits n bobs.

In Firefox and IE the vertical and horizontal scrolls work fine (yeah I know ;-) )

They have had a client saying in safari the left-right scroll isn't there ...

No idea where to start (apart from a complete redesign which they won't do). Anyone know anything obvious ?
