Just a couple to start with. I hired a standard Sony compact camera - W200 possibly, although it may have been slightly older than that - not sure. Anyway, it had the waterproof case, but no special lighting etc. I've colour corrected the underwater shots using Camera Raw (even through they're all JPEGs, CS3 allows you to use Camera Raw on JPEG files), and that's all the alterations I've made asides from the turtle where I've desaturated the background very mildly to help the turtle become more visible. They're seriously well camouflaged! (I didn't actually take this one as you can see) This was taken 12 metres underwater (I didn't actually take this one as you can see) Quite pleased considering the limitations of the environment and equipment; I got some interesting shots for the album

One more 'cause I like the fish Edit: this next one doesn't warrant an extra post of its own, but I thought it was interesting (not entirely sharp though)

Nice work fella!! I like them all, very professional looking and great colours. Is the vignetting added or caused by the housing? Either way I like it.

There's a lot of obvious light fall-off in every photo - more so the deeper you go - which creates a natural vignette (I don't think this is at all related to the housing, as the light really is sparse down there). However, I think you're referring to the slight inner glow I've set: 50% opacity, black, multiply, and being cast by the white frame - mainly to provide stronger contrast between the frame and the photo. Oh, and thanks btw

Where we were staying: Slightly soft again, so I've sharpened it (a bit much when reduced in size as here). I took this using the trusty old T7, suspended from a para-sail a couple hundred feet in the air. Was incredibly peaceful up there I must say. The masses-of-yellow-fish image was taken just off the reef at the bottom right of this image.

Splendid pics.
Nearest I have are a load of snaps taken on a submarine in barbados. Schools of fish, corals, shipwrecks etc. It was quite an immersive trip</droll>
