Just putting a quote together for a JShop site. Never used it before, so I'm a bit in the dark. The shop will have about 30 products, but will not be taking payment directly, ordering will be done by email.

Can anyone give a *rough* idea of time I should allow for setting this up and populating with products. I know it's a bit of a piece of string question, but an idea would help.

Entering products won't take too long - maybe 1-2 hours max.

Setting it up will vary - depends how much customisation you'll be doing, whether you need to do any tweaks etc!

Thanks Jee. I will be customising, but nothing drastic.

hmm, just been looking at the demo store. It looks straightforward to customise, but I guess it's the same as anything in that it takes time to find your way around. Is everything in that css file?

The css file is pretty good to modify. The top/side/footer etc are all separate templates if you want to edit the html.

Depending on it you want to have links to other products etc, you can do a data import if you have a list of products, prices etc. Having said that, the experience of populating it will probably help you understand the workings more. The CSS is pretty good, as is the template as Jee says.

On putting together your quote, would you account for updating on a regular basis? What other aspects would you build into your quote? I might think about doing this in the future.

Cheers
