Hi - not been around much recently as pretty busy, apologies.

This is our first attempt with cmsmadesimple - we have been very impressed with its functionality and ease of use. Plus pretty easy to incorporate your own designs:

http://www.firenznet.co.uk/index.php

The client is still working on the copy and the metas need tweaking but near enough for some feedback if possible please.

Its also "table-less" and validates which is a big step forward compared to other CMS we have evaluated.

Thanks for comments (note that there is a holding page up so please use your back button if you inadvertently drop outside of the site).

Looks familiar wink Where have I seen that image before?

Also, WTF does http://www.firenznet.co.uk/index.php?page=the-coach actually coach?

Apart from that, I like it. Clean and comfortable.

Hi,

Thanks for that. The guy is some sort of executive and life coach. Can't say much more as no doubt he'll soon work out where his stats package is  wink1
Fortunately we know him!

Looks good. Is it quite flexible then, this cmsmadesimple? I'm always on the lookout, just worried about things looking like an 'obvious cms whatever'.

I have been really pleased with cmsms.

It also has a good drop down menu option as one of the standard menus you can use. I have not used it on a client site yet but I have played around with it on dev sites it looks good.

I felt exactly the same when I have looked at cms packages in the past they all looked to obviously identifiable as a cms site.

With this I think you really can get the site looking like you want. There are lots of options you can add - news boxes, search etc but you dont need to.

Thanks for the comments smile
