Domain Name Availablity
«

I am after purchasing a domain name which was never used for a site. I presume the guy who bought it intended to do something but then never bothered. It was due to be renewed back in February and is now showing as suspended in the Whois. How long will I have to wait before this comes available to buy as it looks like he is not going to renew.
I am also not sure if other have their eye on it and have noticed you can domain watch, but cant find the facility anywhere for this domain, which is a .co.uk.
Any advice appreciated.

If it's a .co.uk, you can work out the date it'll drop by going to dropdates.co.uk
If it's a fairly decent name, it'll most likely be reg'd within a second or two of becoming available vy one of the UK domain catchers. You could try backordering it at

Cheers Jee
I shall look into those. Not sure how popular its likley to be to be honest but I have seen a lot of fire related domains snapped up just for ads, so I may just have to take a chance.

Jee. Have you used the above company to backorder any domains. It looks like they charge £30 on a no win basis which includes the 2 years Nominet fees etc. Once its caught I would just like to move it to 123 Reg
