Any opinions?
Any veterans?
Any advice? Good idea? Bad idea?
I've got an appointment to talk about it next week, but I'm pretty unsure - some of you lot must have had this and can offer your experiences?
TIA

Well it's far less barbaric and more reversible than the female equivalent.

I've just picked up our new cat (long story - ask Rutty) from his 'operation' this afternoon. He seems a bit woozy, but none the worse for wear. He can have some wet food later on. I asked him for any advice, but all he proffered was a "mmmmeeewwww". hth

What Chris said dead easy. I had a bunch of student Dr's in while I was having mine done, they were nearly all girls It was a cold theater and I may not have given as good an account of myself as I could have done

Don't do it! Why would you put yourself through it? Daft question! No babies sounds like a good thing to me. Not big on the idea of having kids.

*collective sigh of relief* I'll happily go for it once we've had enough sprogs. After seeing what the women go through to deliver the baby, having a snip is the least you could do

*collective sigh of relief* The way I figure it, there's stuff I want to do in life, and I'm not Mr 2.4 Children. If the choice is spending 6 figures raising a faeces machine, or taking that money and enjoying myself... Another post from the forum's resident cynic.

Parents often say they have willingly sacrificed careers and opportunities so their kids have the best chances in life. Those kids then again miss out by making sacrifices for their own kids, and so the endless circle of missed opportunity, mediocrity and unfulfilled potential goes on.
