Just doing a quotation for a (likely) project that includes an ongoing SEO/adwords element. While I'm pretty confident that the sites I make are SE friendly, I've never had much to do with adwords, especially managing a campaign of any kind. They're happy with a monthly fee for me to handle this. What I'm asking is...

1. If I take the time to get my head around this stuff, any ideas how much time a week/month I should set aside to manage it?

2. If I choose not to take the time to get my head around this stuff, is there anyone here who would like to take that monthly fee and manage it themselves? This would be a case of me hiring you as a freelancer trading under my business.

The job is fairly likely to come off, but I need to get a price to him later today if poss. Any suggestions welcome, perhaps a Pm if you're interested in No.2

Ta

PS Site is a 10-pager for an IT training company.

Patience!

I'd just go for it yourself. I'm sure you'll get enough advice here to see you through.

And it'll be a nice string to your bow.

Yeah, that's the sensible option. But I had a look at some stuff tonight and it all looks so complicated! I'd feel a bit of a fraud  charging them for expertise I simply don't have. I was really hoping someone here would take it on. For someone who knows what they're doing it would be a nice easy little bit of monthly income.

I don't think I can invest the time to learn it myself. It kind of leaves me a bit cold, and I'm not good at learning stuff I'm not  really interested in.
