HI All,

I have a friend over in California, and tried senidng him an email, but it got bounced. So tried getting to his web site to check I had the right email address. But his site is no longer online... guess I should call him by phone next. But wondered whether anyone had any comments on the page/message that appears at his domain:

Quote
Apache/2.2.8 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8g DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.itni.com Port 80
Looks like his site has totally disappeared as has his email addresses, think a phone call is called for. All kinda weird.

I really can't think of anything to say about an empty directory listing with a server signature.

Just looks kinda odd, his site was online days ago as I went on it to check I had the correct email address for his office. If he had absconded form the company with all its funds then there'd be no reason for the site to disappear..... www.itni.com is his site.

Did you call him?

There could be any number of reasons why a site may disappear, many of them unintentional. Someone absconding with the funds is a long way down the list of possible causes.

Check his email at the web.archive.org site.

Personally I'd just pick up the phone.
