what printer ?

My old epson 680 has run out of ink and I think that was the last cartridge in town .. not even on amazon anymore, so it's time to buy a new printer ...
what would you recommend ... cheap (only for my own use), quite recent so cartridges don't become defunct ..
any ideas ?

still sell the ink if you want to keep using it.
Obviously not as much fun as a new shiny toy but the option is there if you want it

Depending on usage, the Canon Pixma range are pretty good for photos/office. Inks reasonable too.
