ive got a coupke fo sites i run which have adsense on but ive been changing a few thing on one of the sites and im thinking about ditching adsense.
is this a good idea? recently ive not been making much at all with adsense which is the main reason for dropping it. should i be looking at more affiliate marketing and find some decent tings to advertise?
ive seen lots of sites with adverts on where do they get them all from? is it just a case of joining a few networks and see what is about?

It depends what the site subject/niche is I have found adsense has increased month on month for me over the last 6 months or so no real idea why although I have made few tweaks. My main income is from affiliate sales as you can get 7% or higher from a single sale and is around double the adsense income each month. However one of my pages compliments the product very well and is luckily ranked very well so I regard that as rather lucky and could change I guess if google had a moment.
I use cj, tradedoubler, affilitewindow as my main networks I have joined most of the others but prefer the payout/sites for these three and they offer a wide variety of content.

Avoid clickbank though. If you don't make a lot of sales they start taking commission back off you as punishment.

I think affiliate window is UK based, or there is a UK branch of it, similar to trade doubler. I'd go for AF over CJ as they seem to have more known sites, but then again it's been years since I looked t CJ.

Tradedoubler in the UK covers a lot of UK online stores such as WH Smiths, iTunes, Dell, PC World etc. However those that aren't on tradedoubler are usually on affiliate window - firebox is one for example. I'd join both and look at them both. If Aff Window is similar then the payout will be in GBP, won't be a high threshold to get a payout (TD is £30) and goes straight into your bank account.
I've been meaning to join Aff Window for a while now, made almost £100 via TD so quite happy there, considering that's only a few sales.

£100 not bad i did try joining cj a few years ago but they declined me. it was probably because the site i was signing up with was only just starting out so ill give them another go.
