A common topic but one I would imagine changes monthly.

Which is the preffered Anti Virus Software, Avast or AVG and why ?

NOD32 is my default, but on one lappy I have AVG and its perfectly fine. Does its job fairly unobtrusively.

I have been using AVG for the past couple of years but wondered if it was worth switching to Avast as my renewal is up next month. I have been happy with AVG but always willing to change if its a better product.

I have just downloaded it to try and it seems OK now I have managed to get rid of the tray icons spinning around.
